Join George as he walks you through one of our latest roof replacements

Good morning, everybody. It's George at Rescue Roofing. Hope everybody's been enjoying the beautiful spring weather. I know we finally got out of that cold snap, but we wanted to showcase a re-roof we have going on this morning off of Collier Parkway in Land O' Lakes.

The Roof Project Overview

As you can see, it's an 8/12 pitch. The guys are all harnessed off, ropes and anchors attached. The guys are going to be going through, first off, tearing off the old shingles, and we are detaching the gutters. If you notice, we have a technician right up front here working on the drip edge. We are going to be re-setting them gutters after we're completed with this slope of the roof.

Materials and Installation Process

We have the pool patio in the back all tarped off. After the roof decking is completed with ring shank nails and all rotten wood is replaced, we will apply our self-adhered peel and stick throughout the entire house. And then after the peel and stick is applied, we will then install our Owens Corning shingles, 50-year lifespan from manufacturer, 130-mph wind uplift. This house is going to look great.
